Lyrics
If you're going to San Francisco Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair If you're going to San Francisco You're gonna meet some gentle people there For those who come to San Francisco Summertime will be a love-in there In the streets of San Francisco Gentle people with flowers in their hair All across this nation Theres a strong vibration With a whole new generation of People in motion People in motion with a new explanation For those who come to San Francisco Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair And if your going to San Francisco Be sure to tell them i will be there For those who come to San Francisco Summertime will be a love-in there In the streets of San Francisco Your gonna meet some gentle people there If you come to San Francisco Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair When you go to san francisco Youre gonna meet some gentle people there John Phillips Lyrics and melody

What an awesome take on an old classic! You've mixed the familiar bits to make it recognizable with your own original segments to make it your own! Fabulous Rod! I like it a lot!

This is "San Francisco" in typical Ramolly style. Flower Power at 2012. At 1:40 you add an own part to the song, in a Rock style, followed by a talking or whispering style. At 2:40 San Francisco is back, with flowers in your hair. I enjoyed it, Rod. Greetings from Belgium, my friend.

I see you have done your homework on this timeless classic. This one with your signature style and sound is an absolute pleasure. Terrific singing. Great creative musical change at about 1:40 especially with the spoken word segment. Nice! You continue to bring out the very best in cover renditions….(cool ending). 5+ stars as usual.
