Story behind the song
This piece started out as a class project. I had to choose a mode to write a piece in, and I'd composed in pretty much every mode except Locrian. Yummy tri-tone and no fifths to work with? Challenge...accepted!! I had no intentions of the piece becoming this long, but once I got started, I didn't stop for nearly 4 minutes (duration of the piece). There's a brief Gershwin-esque pattern in there around 2:07 as well. For some reason the recording cuts off the first accented B chord and I couldn't seem to fix that, but besides that this was the best recording, so I'm using it!
