Strange music for strange people.
Dollar Bill and The Unmentionables has been recording slightly silly music since 1989. In 2010 we started making videos to stare at while the song plays. Genre: varies, sometimes within the same song even. Be sure to check out the video page, as many of the songs have super high-budget (i.e. $0) music videos

Lyrics
The drive in was where we had our first kiss at a double feature most of which we missed On a hot summer night out under the stars watching bad movies from the front of your car At the drive in At the drive in I'll see you there at the drive in Now that old drive in is being closed gonna be a graveyard; they hung speakers on the headstones The screen is still there playing movies every eve much to the delight of the recently deceased At the drive in At the drive in I'll see you there at the drive in So when it's my time to go please bury me there in a double plot that someday we can share Watching movies into eternity down at the drive in where she fell for me At the drive in At the drive in I'll see you there at the drive in

Much creativity displayed here. Both in the song and the wonderful video. I loved the dancing grave stones :) The ukulele (and the Hawaii shirt) kick off with a jazzy little tune and the jazz lounge genre fits this piece well, though it could also have been something from an old movie featuring Fred Astaire. A step dancing solo would not have come as a surprise :) Well done, Bill and those not mentionables.

I totally agree with Al. A very nice video with a funny story and I like that retro feeling you have put in the music AND the video (black white and the telephone voice). It was the first time I saw your faces, by the way. Nice to meet you and I hope there is coming more........

Love the sound of the Ukulele that opens this Jazzy little ditty, great story in music gentlemen with loads of sass and unabashed cliche :D Bravo!

Very nice audio production. The ukulele intro sounds great. Very quirky track and instruments. The outro is awesome! Another cool track from $Bill and a great, first collab.

Nice uke sounding intro to this one, that proceeds to reminisce of the good old days at the drive-in theatre (I believe most of us can relate). The uke itself (to me) is analogues to summertime (as is the drive-in), so that was a nice tie in. I was especially impressed with the rag-time horn section interlude (yet another homage to the “good old days”). Nicely played, sung and produced.
