Cosmic Side are a comglomeration of musicians based in London, and headed by Paul Yambasu, the main writer, conceiver, and producer. Cosmic Side have been around in various formats since their creation on the late 80's. Their music is a mixture of Funk, and blues primarily, but the outfit have always considered music to be free and open to many different styles and influences from home and abroad. A blending of the basic rudiments of music, strong rythmic foundation and melodies applies very much to the Cosmic Side. The band origianally were pulled from such UK acts as Jazz Africa , The Foundations, and have guested on various projects with a host of top UK Funk acts. Paul now also heads Ankh Productions based in London.
