and yet another existential crisis gave birth to this one. i've always considered the harmonica a wonderfully expressive instrument. fun to play too.

Lyrics
here i am wonderin' where i go from here, here the sun's on my back and the sky's so bright and clear promised land might be around the bend wishful thinkin's got my number again i'll have a cup of joe and a dream to go too much thinkin' can drive a man insane don't want to take that cold and lonely road again here i am wonderin' where i go from here at the crossroads and the way is never clear damned if you don't, damned if you do maybe i'll just forget about you i'll have a cup of joe and a dream to go i'll have a dream to go i know you can't show me the way......

Too much thinking can drive a man insane"man you can say that again. This song struck a chord with me.Gently insightful, trademark clean production and playing, subtly tugging on the heartstrings with that clear tuneful voice inviting the listener along for the ride.

Beautiful sensitive song from the heart, well performed (as usual!) and recorded! I like the harmonica too, cool. Actually, harmonica was my first instrument when still living in Finland as a kid. It was'nt a blues harp but one of those bigger ones with two tiers of holes. I can still play a couple of finnish folk tunes whereby you vamp the rhythm with the tongue at the same time as you play the melody. Peace, Mauri.

Hello, Gabe. Wanted to stop and thank you for your good review & comment to my song. Also listened to a few of yours, and found A Dream To Go my favorite. 2nd fav/ Christmas Train (didn't know my grandfathers either so I could relate right away), and 3rd/ No More Rain. God bless, Rose from Texas :)

Dang Gabe, this tune is just a dandy. It is so laid back and the lyrics flow so naturally. It's certainly one of your top songs. I'm having me some coffee and taking a second listen right now! Great tune!

Hey Gabe, This is a little bit different style for you and I love it! Your guitar finger pattern glides through with elegance. Clean and efficient with those instruments. Were you drinking some Joe? No matter, mighty good through out. JD

Gabe, I am so sorry it took a while to get back to you on this song. I have been really sick since Christmas Eve. That said, what a way to start feeling better, listening to your new song. What a concept. A cup of coffee and a dream to go. You are one of the finest singer songwriters I have had the privilege to listen to. The sound of your voice is so soothing. What a great song. Kit

Hi Gabe, Another treasure. Love the lyrical sentiment expressed. How true. As always I love the bass sound you get. Really pushes this along the accoustic highway. Vocals are top notch as usual. Great way to start the year. Sorry I was long getting here. Have not been near the computer or music for the holidays. I had started a christmas song and just finished and too late for the holidays but it did not come out so not sure it is a loss. LOL! Lets hope for some new great music this year. Great start!
