DARK BLU is the solo project of Atlanta, GA rock guitarist, Daemon Blak. Unlike most deathmetal/black metal bands who have a growler or screamer as the vocalist, Daemon has chosen female soprano vocals for his band. The combination of music and vocal elements in his songs is unique, especially considering that he wrote, recorded, and produced it all himself with a drum machine sequencer. The guitar solos in particular, are incredible.

Story behind the song
My father's passing on December 13, 2006 was the event that triggered my return to music after a 15 year hiatus. on New Years Eve of 2006, I had a premonition of my future as a rock star and on New Years day, January 1st, 2007, I decided to begin my comeback. The road was long and fraught with many pitfalls as I attempted to form bands with the wrong people for the wrong reasons and finally discovered that I had to go it alone as a solo artist in order to see my vision of my music through to completion. This song is my self expression of the re-discovery of who and what I am, why I'm here and what I must do. ROCK THE WORLD from stage to stage and crowd to crowd, EVERYWHERE.
