Story behind the song
"catch the light" had a nice trip to San Diego area and took a whale watching tour off Dana Wharf, loved it , lots of blues, and hundreds of dolphins, the cool thing as i was watching the reflection of the sun off the ocean gave me the name of the song

Very nice Rod! Cool and laid back. Dig the bass and cool panning. The acoustic guitar sounds great. Nice keys/synth.

I'm enjoying this tune. Writing this as I listen. I really like your acoustic guitar stuff. The layering of the voices, and the changes in this tune ... nice and subtle. Overall, it gives me an uplifting feeling. Really good stuff in my humble opinion.

Lovely piece, very relaxing and soothing, especially after a hard day's work. And of course the sun, especially sun set is my fave time of the day, I could just dream away on this.

I spent some vacation time in San Diego a few years ago. Perfect weather; great scenery, just a wonderful place to visit. It is miraculous the way our environment inspires internal creatively. I believed you captured the essence of the moments spent absorbing the oceans reflection of the life giving galactic star in this peaceful composition. I really loved the intro in this piece and the strumming of your guitar. Sweet and smooth. Very good dynamics. Superb organ quality and tonality. Hmm…yes, I wish I was back in Sand Diego. Peace
