Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Wow, I like this one. Dreams and mysteries everywhere around while making a psychedelic trip.I like the organ sound here (makes it kind of unusual in my opinion) and of course the lead guitar is top.
Yes, you're right, this one is surely underrated. We all should play it very often. Good job, Carlo and David!

Very nice soundscapes and great playing. Like always there is a 1970's tone to your music Carlo, the lead guitar on this one reminds me of George Harrison at times. The whole piece has a dreamy, psychedelic feeling, without ever losing it's course. The musicianship is awesome and the whole piece is just a gem. I understand why you think it's a bit underrated :)

Hints of Jefferson Airplane and the Doors? Sure, but still with the Carlo touch and inimitable sound. Cool collab, gents!

It is one of the biggest secrets of Nature that a beautiful day puts a heavier weight on the mind and hearts of the depressed and the tormented than does a really bad day with a dark rain continuously pouring down from a dirty and grey sky covering the continent like it was a UFO.
These people will find some comfort in surpisingly warm and slowly evolving clouds of guitars - out into the wide open yet melancholic.
Thx for your kind words on my music ( I put up a brandnew The House Of The Rising Sun in 160 kbps - awesome really : the SC staff has SILENTLY introduced the new upload in 160 kbps for free accounts - use it, I should say ( also ALL YOUR NEW STREAMING ( new uploads free and VIP!! ) will of course then be in 160 kbps quality ).

Nice retro 60's feel of this track especially the guitar play. Speaking the fretwork, I thoroughly enjoyed the fine diverse playing style in this track...Outstanding.

It was a real pleasure to work together on this tune Carlo. You presented me with a fabulous backing track to go wild on. Then your keyboard sounds added an extra polish to the completed mix. 'The Parkers Brothers' sound good together.
Plus, The Pre-Raphaelite painting suits the tune well. Nice.
Great music from yesteryear!
