Timmy J. was signed with Sony Music in 2000 when he was still with a band called JRM. The band had the privilege and honor to receive a nomination for the Best Newcomer of the Year. One of Tim's song "If You Need to Love Someone" stayed at no. 1 in the local charts for 2 weeks, beating international artist from around the world for that top spot. Tim left the band a year later and never got involved with music ever since. That is until now ... While living in Hawaii, Tim had the privilege to backup sing for visiting Christian artist such as David Ruis and Paul Baloche. After more than 10 yrs away from singing and songwriting, he's back with a solo album depicting his worship journey and rediscovering of his passion for music and most importantly God.
