Al, can you tell me why there is no comment of mines on your "A Late Night Spell "????? But now.... ;) Good idea from you to put this one on the higher place of your player, in fact your great piano peformance here is really worth a careful listen!!! Fantastic Rhodes and grand Piano, smoothy Sax leads and a touch of "danceable" ( at least in my opinion, while I am tapping wild with my feet here...!!). Excellent interplay between piano and sax, fantastic mix, but now my most loved part: starting at about 2:16 with the sax going explorating into a crescendo ( using some ostinato) and then down with the piano chilling the atmosphere.... this is music dynamic my friend! ;) Well done Al, top shelf production! Cheeres to the music!

Hey Al ... The key word here is "GROOVE"! That's exactly what this song does! Love the bit of echo/delay on the sax ... sweet! Love the drums, too! Actually, what's not to like? You are a master of NuJazz and Funk. It's always a treat to click onto any of your songs. This is great stiff ... as always! Totally enjoyed the concept and delivery. 'To be cool like that' - ahh indeed sir, very cool! That sax is spanking! Nice jazz piano, great melody & horns. I like your bass work a lot. Not sure if I (newbe) commented on this track correctly the first time so wanted to make sure my 2-cents (for what it's worth) was entered correctly.

Cool sounds. Like the percussions, dancing and quick sax riffs. Great sound. Wow impressive sax work at 2:24 . Pretty cool key board work. Enjoyed the listen. Excellent recording.
