An nifty little experiment in old-skool electronica.
indie solo
This is just my own solo stuff. I do this crap mostly for my own amusement and/or as songwriting/production/arranging exercises. I don't how to categorize myself since I'm liable to try absolutely anything that catches my fancy, from indie-punk to '70s TV theme spoofs to ambient atmospherics. It's all here for you to enjoy, and if you're not careful you might get a headache before it's done, hey hey hey.

Story behind the song
Constructed in Reaper using only free VST plug-ins and a few of my huge collection of miscellaneous wav files. Inspired by mickeybeam75's amazing YouTube library of early '90s British hardcore/jungle techno. I never was much into techno, but for some reason these funky DIY relics from the rave era have grabbed onto me. Maybe it's the fact that it represents a whole different approach to music-making that I've been super-slow to acknowledge, or maybe it's just the mystique of the scratchy, murky from-another-planet obscurity of this stuff. At any rate, doing this is definitely helping me learn more about Reaper and what I can do with it beyond guitar/bass/drum plug-in/keyboard plug-in/lousy vocals. This is worth exploring further.
