Ambient chill out relaxing music for yoga meditation and psychedelic electronica
Nick Davies: English man AWOL in Asia since 1992, is the man behind Stretchout Music. Over a decade here in Thailand has probably made it impossible to ever return to the land of tea and cucumber sandwiches. Thailand is a land of extremes; You can live life in the 'very' fast lane or you can seek spiritual enlightenment or, you can do a bit of both, Which is what Stretchout Music is all about. I feel lucky to have experienced and seen things that have made me look hard at life and what I can do to leave the world a better place than when I found it. The world would definately not be a better place if I sang. I see and hear things around me and they turn to music in my head, then my computer and I make love and we produce musical offspring that grow up to find their own little genres of music to join. Sometimes it's ambient, sometimes it's psychedelic trip hop. "Nick's music is powerfully thought provoking and highly original, Based in his tropical home in Thailand, where Buddhism, nature and a vibrant way of life has influenced an artist of the decade." "This is quality music from a quality mind."

Story behind the song
This is about togetherness. Humans and animals interacting in harmony. Science may help us to understand and even communicate with other creatures. This will never happen though unless we take it upon ourselves to adapt and enter their world with compassion and understanding. Only then will a balance be achieved. This song took shape with that in mind. Thanks to a number of people who are striving to find out more about our ocean cousins and have recorded many hours of whale songs; the Humpback and blue whales being the most 'musical' I took clips of these whale songs that seemed to have a 'song' within them and listened for a way to accompany them. I wanted to get a majestic yet subtle sound that swells with the ebb and flow of the ocean waves. The song starts with waves crashing on the shore of a pebble beach, we are drawn into the water by the whale songs and go deeper and deeper as the song goes on and we become more lulled by the swelling ambience of the ocean.
