Black 13 is a project I've been picking away at for a few years. Varying from progressive to power metal, the music has a lot of focus on melodic content. As usual though, I've always been drawn towards more aggressive and technical music, so there will be the expected elements I've always incorporated into the music I make.

Story behind the song
Three guitar tracks, 1 bass track, and 1 drum track over a backing track by Xaoslord. There's a few sloppy bits, but I was going for a "jammy" vibe and while I took multiple passes, I only allowed myself to use unedited single takes for each track. Guitars are all the Jackson through a boss ST-2, bass is an Honer 4 string through the POD xt. Drums are Superior 2.0, played via my Alesis USB pro kit.
