Story behind the song
Jaunita read my status on Facebook where I made the comment I was in a "Texas State of Mind" Juanita liked it and sent me some lyrics she had written I liked it too so I wrote more lyrics and composed the music and Claude Larente did the music trax .. As of late : The song has been recorded by Donna Ray at Echota Records produced by Ed Gowens....A Big thank you to Ed & Donna and all the great musicians who played on the new version
