Hi! I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter currently living in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. I've been performing music in one way or another since the mid '60's, starting out singing tenor in a barbershop quartet with my brothers and then into a progression of bands playing rock, jazz, blues and country and... whatever. It's been a fun ride so far and I'm still as exited about it as the day I began. Ralph Atkinson

Lyrics
Her name was Suzannah and she came from Louisiana with a banjo on her knee We met down at the levee, she was a beauty from the bevy and damned fine company it didn't take too long to see that it was a fait accompli Well, before you even ask let me tell you about my past and maybe I can shed a little light we'll go and grab a beer 'cause what you're about to hear should help to make it all as clear as night dark clouds on the horizon ain't really so surprisin' I can't take no new bad news 'cause I'm still workin' on yesterday's blues Hey buddy, you're the best, I'm glad I got that off of my chest maybe now you'll understand my plight so finish up the beer, I'm gonna hightail outta here and that woman can wail at my red tailights life is just a gunfight and I've shown up with a knife that's why I had to cut the noose 'cause I'm still workin' on yesterday's blues

Yes. I enjoyed it all. Really admiring the guitar solo. Too many effective sounds on this track to mention. Nice work!

This is faultless and perfection in a song that sings with both voice and instruments. One of your best and that is saying alot considering the company of your other songs.

This is an exquisitely smooth and soulful track with sweet vocal harmony throughout. The melody, groove and arrangement are working hand in hand to satisfy listener's appetite. Great song
