Lyrics
Hello Mister President, it's a pleasure meeting you. I'm an ambassador from God, and I'm here to tell the truth. My name is not important now, I come from simple folk, No PhD's or limousines, just an ordinary Joe. I think you know the reason why I need to have your ear. It's been a long time coming, and now a crisis nears. The founding fathers trusted us to guide the nation on The principles they wrote about in the constitution. Two hundred years, one nation under God. Two hundred years, of knowing right from wrong. Two hundred years, we put our trust in God. Two hundred years, He's helped us all along. We sing "God Bless America," pledge "One nation under God." But when we're in the voting booth, do we give the Lord a thought? Do we choose the ones who'll lead us on the straight and narrow way? Who proclaim the Living Lord, and are unashamed to say? Two hundred years, one nation under God. Two hundred years, of knowing right from wrong. Two hundred years, we put our trust in God. Two hundred years, He's helped us all along. Two hundred years, one nation under God. Two hundred years, of knowing right from wrong. Two hundred years, we put our trust in God. Two hundred years, He's helped us all along.
