A musical plea for wisdom & compassion, adamantly against the hypocrisy of institutionalized religion, along with State addiction to never-ending wars (sanctioned mass murder). All instrumental performances, recording, and production by Bryan Knight.
Here's an expression of my disgust at the militant "religious" right, most religious institutes, bold hypocrisy, corrupt government, unending war (for profit), and western civiliaztion's sick war culture. Lies, greed, and lust for power run rampant as the most dangerous war of all is carried out - the insidious war against humanity being perpetrated upon us by unseen powers (the eilte). In spite of broaching such ugly topics - this song is also an expression of great hope of peace and life - and freedom - for all.
(Verse 1)
How can you say you’re a good Christian then
Refuse to practice love
Why do you think you are better than them
Who don’t believe in god above
(Bridge)
All you hypocrites can deny
And go on living your big lie
Does God want us to make more war?
Is that what Christians really are?
(Verse2)
How can you say you’re a holy man then
Refuse to protest war
When you think you are better than them
You don’t know who you really are
(Repeat Bridge)
(Chorus)
Freedom lives in our hearts
That’s where love always starts
Wisdom shines in our minds
Dreams of hope for all mankind
Dreams of peace for every girl and boy
(Verse 3)
Corporations and their politicians
Act blameless for their mistakes
Chipping away at our constitution
While they are on the take
(Bridge2)
All you hypocrites can deny
And go on profiting from your lies
The people don’t want fear and war
That’s not what "our boys" should die for
(Repeat Chorus)
