The extremely freaky 'Title Track' (if you will) to 'Git Weird'. This is the special 'internet version'--the ALBUM Version is even freakier!

Story behind the song
"Mindfunk (The Darkside)" is just plain weird!! Period. This 'internet version' is simply the 'backing track' (featuring both the Lead and Backing Vocals). The ALBUM VERSION, on the other hand, has a THIRD Vocal (which, if I uploaded it, would've truly AGED the song--the basic tracks were recorded in 1990!!!!).
This whole (original)'Cassette-Album' was planned for late 1991---but I shelved it to get the SECOND Osmosis Cassette-Album ready (as well as a Cosmic Funk Orchestra Cassette-Album called "Life Is Really Strange").
The "Git Weird" sessions just sat, until a couple of NEW TRACKS were recorded in 2004 and 2005 ("High-Low", and two others which still didn't make it on the album, "Invasion" and "Legend" respectively). The "Git Weird" CD finally made it's official Debut on August 22, 2006 (my Birthday!!), on my MySpace site as a Free CD.
It was a hit--not bad for a new CD of (nearly) 2-decade-old sessions.
