Story behind the song
I couldnt do a bucket list of songs without including a song from Jeff Lynne's Electric Light orchestra . This is one of my favs. i used a synth for all the orchestra / strings parts . Vocals were a challenge and it's got some diminished chords in it ! not your average pop song !
it's a song about waiting on the phone for girlfriend / wife to pickup after being apart . Think Lynne was on tour at the time. think we've all been there at some point.
