103 Good Morning This Afternoon and 102 I'm So Satisfied are sister songs, both started at a OTHS dance. I wrote 10 unfinished songs that night but I learned the way finish songs was to put the unfinished ones together, so the 10 songs became 2 songs
I got together with Alien Syndrome Deluxe (Bryan Anthony) in August of 2024 and we recorded this and 2 1/2 others. He was the producer and he played all the instruments. 103 Good Morning This Afternoon By Patrick Thomas Connolly
"#103. Good Morning This Afternoon" and "102. Im So Satisfied" are sister songs both written up on October 11. Now October 11, was Thursday so I am thinking the songs got their start at the Oakville Trafalgar High School (OTHS) dance that was maybe held on Friday October 5.
A month or so before I had gone to another dance at OTHS and met a blond, kinky haired girl named Heather and I was hoping to meet her again but I didn't - I met a brunet named Stephanie and she turned out to be a lot of inspiration.
I thought I had written about 10 unfinished songs that night but I had found the way finish songs was to put the unfinished ones together and so the 10 songs became these 2 songs. The sad part is that I never got to see either of these girls again.
#103. Good Morning This Afternoon" is one of my more abstract songs where I have little respect for grammatical conventions.
