The Looking Glass
Sometimes when we wake up
We see an inkling of a moment
Somewhere when we alter our perception
We imagine our reflection
In the looking glass
Often when revealing
Our emotions to our ones
Whilst feeling loved we still
Refuse to trust
Though opening ourselves
To others constant vision
A room remains secrets
Gather dust
Yet simply seeing problems for the truth
Does not reveal the secrets there within
Doing something with them to the answer
While an open heart allows the allows
the soul the smile again
allows the soul to smile again
Feeling as we do
We can be known to falter
Walking on our paths through our minds
Meaning to retrace and fix our sight on
The walkways of our hopes and our lives
Yet simply seeing vision for the future
Does not reveal the secrets from the past
With an inkling of the sorrow and the joy there
comes a moment when we
Reconcile at last
Our looking glass is mirroring our venture
Our seeing ins the moment in the sun
One being stated on the journeys pathway
One enterprising spirit gets it done
Never as we journey down our avenues we go on
Will we be revealed to the bare bone
Somehow we will travel down the roadway
We return to the point of the beginning
And our world
