Successive Australian governments have allowed the USA to conduct an eleven-year vendetta of intimidation against one of our own citizens.
Australia oten calls other nations out on their human rights record, yet has not intervened to end the inhumane mistreatment of Julian Assange, a whistleblower whose work with Wikileaks highlighted war crimes being committed by the USA.
Today, in 2023, Julian continues to suffer ongoing mental and physical damage from his incarceration in Belmarsh Prison while the threat of extradition to the USA (which would surely kill him) looms ever closer.
