Jeff did the bass, acoustic and two electric rhythms, while Dave did the jangle lead.
Wrote song in 2021 about some people undervaluing love while others are walking alone under a lover's moon. I did the main tracks and Dave did an awesome job bringing it all together with a Jangle lead.
Song after song of silly love songs
You’d think it’d be easy to find
Like a fairy tale or like a unicorn
You begin to doubt that it’s real
I won’t pretend that love’s a friend
When he might just be my enemy
Love comes late and leaves to soon
Walking alone, under a lover’s moon
Commiserating over a pint or 2 or 3
About love once, but no longer sweet
You do your best to be honest
And they treat you this a way
Some people like to gamble with love
A flick of the wrist, a random roll of the dice
Love rarely seems to ever come cheap
And it certainly never plays nice
Holding onto the rarest of the rare
To turn around and find you no longer care
While I was so busy tending love’s bloom
I find that you had already left the room
Like a vandal you pillaged these lands
And salted the earth behind
I understand that you didn’t plan to stay
But every question still ends “But why?”
