This is from a 4 track cassette that I recorded on many years ago. After high-school I often looked at the yearbook and I took Gail and Lynne's names from that yearbook. It is about loneliness.

Lynne-Gail Though Her Window
Lynne-Gail looks at her face in the mirror.
She tells herself she wants someone.
She is so strong in her loneliness,
Watching outside,
She looks out for any intruder
And protects her pain.
Though her window she sees
Everyone filling their cups.
Making music and love, Sad and happy
Dancing and crying Working, activity
Accomplishment and failure Success and loss.
"Love is just a game" she says "and
I don't know how to play".
But she has so much strength in her
Loneliness and no one has the
Strength to understand.
She will only whisper - and
Expect me to hear, even though I'm
On the other side of her
Pain - of glass. If
Only she could weaken the pain and
Break the glass to
Let someone absorb her love.
