Story behind the song
I've always wanted to do a song with made up words a la Stanley Unwin, and this is my attempt! It actually started life as a slow piano ballad, but wasn't doing it for me, so I started messing about with its tempo and also some synth patches on my fave Wavestation, and this song finally sparked into life.
One of the few songs i've ever done that has no Bass, I was aiming for that classic early '80s tinny production sound and thus left it very sparse. Had great fun making this track and I hope you like it.
It will feature on my 2021 Mrcorbett Album 'Strawberry Lives' which is out on all the major sites on 15th March.
