Keith Cook - guitar, bass, vocals, Leon Russell - drums
Awhile back I ended up with Leon Russell's drum machine.
I wrote 20 songs around everything left on it and there were 9 that he arranged which are denoted by the number he saved them on the machine as being included in the title, for example (Song 01).
I also included alternate versions of those 9 songs as instrumentals.
There she is among the white lotus
With the moon in her hair in the autumn sky
I know shes waiting there
Playing her song
surrounded by swans
Her words flow
To the sea an sky
In a rhythm as oldtime
Her aim is true
Destroying the darkness in your mind
the ultimate truth
Quenching the fire in the sea
She is river
She is a tree
She is part of all that is
all that was
and all that will ever be
Forever grateful for what she gave to me
I could never repay
There she is among the white lotus
skin glowing like the gold embrodierd in her red dress
surround by owls
helped her find her way through the night
All The men & gods worship at her feet
All women are an embodiment of her
Mother Earth an Mother Spirit
She came from the depths of the oldest deepest sea
born to this mortal body
at the beginning of the universe
She drank from the cosmic ocean of milk
She is part of all that is
all that was
and all that will ever be
Forever grateful for what she gave to me
I could never repay
There she is among the white lotus
skin glowing like the gold embrodierd in her red dress
surround with lions and tigers
She is the girl of 1000 names and faces
They called her the daughter of the mountain
the golden one,
the dark one
The goddess of destruction
mother of the world
She is the voice of reason, freedom, resistance. strength, power, action and justice
She said "do not fear anyone or anything"
became a God born a human being
She fought like a devil and cried like a baby
She is part of all that is
all that was
and all that will ever be
Forever grateful for what she gave to me
I could never repay
