NEW RECORD OUT OCT 4TH ALL MAJOR SERVICES Keith Cook - guitar, bass, vocals, drum machine
Awhile back I ended up with Leon Russell's drum machine.
I wrote 20 songs around everything left on it and there were 9 that he arranged which are denoted by the number he saved them on the machine as being included in the title, for example (Song 01).
I also included alternate versions of those 9 songs as instrumentals.
This is the end begin
New york style clothes pin
One late night in Brooklyn
What secret lies herein
Over a drink of sloe gin
Left overs from the parts bin
To dumb an thick skin
Or to smart to give in
Like an alien
Looking for a motor inn
With some Christ within
Looking for a deadly sin
Notify the next of kin
Like a severed conjoined twin
Light within the firing pin
Lost within the underpin
Of a time remaining when
That the losers might win
To take it on the chin
Flowers to the trash bin
Not much to anyone's chagrin
Still the bittersweet medicine
Numbered with Suboxone
Cleaned mouth with Erythromycin
