Instrumental Improv-Jam version of the Neil Young Classic
Conceived c2001. This is Take 2 Mix 1 recorded c2001 Yamaha PSR-85 & Sony DTC-700
So.....you thought Neil Young was a SLOPPY guitar player? HA!! I definitely give the old hippie a run for his money in that department on this improvisational cover of the "After The Gold Rush" classic.Made up a Piano keyboard sequence, then MIDI-slaved it to a rudimentary Drum Machine sequence, plugged in hyper distorted guitar,& mixed/recorded direct to DAT all at once.Started out with some sputtering/haphazard tries at the main guitar riff, then ventured off into some semi-aimless wild shredding all over the fret-board,with one particular section generating some pretty cool sustained feedback off a low "A" note that would make old Neil himself envious!!
