CLEARLY NEEDING A YOUNG VOCAL! I really enjoyed doing this collaboration with my good friend Brian Ralston (aka SelfTort) of Australia. It's about the stresses of being young. Please see the "Story"
The "SAVE BRIAN APPEAL!".....CLEARLY NEEDING A YOUNG VOCAL!
...I really enjoyed doing this collaboration with my good friend Brian Ralston (aka SelfTort) of Australia.
It is however a childrens' song about the stresses of being young and we desparately need to save Brian from more embarassment at having his lovely "mature/gravelly" vocals on a childrens' song.
We're keen to have a demo recorded by a young singer or young choir.....
PLEASE HELP TO SAVE BRIAN'S BLUSHES! LOL!
GIVE US SOME TIME OUT
Intro
Give us some time out….. give us some time out,
I’m stretched like a bungee, with ten tons of gunge
Verse 1
Friends turn away sometimes, sisters are a pain,
Mother clamps down, and Father just frowns,
My room’s in a mess, and although it’s not there to impress,
When friends come around, even that gets me down.
Chorus
So give us some time out for absolutely nothing
When nothing’s what we need to do,
I’m in a time-warp of no motivation
Yea, kids get stressed sometimes too.
Verse 2
My tracksuit’s gone missing and Sarah/Simon tried kissing me,
Rover had nothing to do, so he chewed through my shoe,
I need to unwind with a book, but look,
I’ve still stacks of homework to do.
Chorus Repeat
So give us some time out for absolutely nothing
When nothing’s what we need to do,
I’m in a time-warp of no motivation
Yea, kids get stressed sometimes too.
Verse 3
I’ve got a little brain drought, and need to sort my head out,
I’m stretched to the core, can’t take any more,
Can’t get my head into prioritising
So no compromising I don’t want it no more
Chorus Repeat.
So give us some time out for absolutely nothing
When nothing’s what we need to do,
I’m in a time-warp of no motivation
Yea, kids get stressed sometimes too.
Give us some time out, give us some time out
I’m stretched like a bungee, with ten tons of gunge.
Give us some time out, give us some time out
I’m stretched like a bungee, with ten tons of gunge.
