I wrote this song for a very good friend who was going through a rough patch in her marriage. She was basically standing on the brink of loneliness but refused to jump into divorce. My advice to her, and the words in this song, helped bring her husband back to his senses and saved the marriage. The point is, if the man loses it, instead of stooping to his level, the woman must find it by keeping her own sanity. Two fools don't make a single wise couple. And good triumphs over evil in the end.
