Back when I was in school, I'll admit....I hated it.
Nobody in class wanted to here all that B.S. about presidents and wars
and the many lies that cover up the truth of the past.
But today, I have a new perspective.
I love History because it teaches us lessons.
Sometimes, it can reveal secrets.
It shows us paths former Leaders took to achieve major accomplishments.
It teaches us many things that we can apply in our lives today.
Now, if you are an artist online trying to grow your online presence...
Would you listen to two very successful artist in the music
industry if they told you some of the things they did to gain certain
levels of success??
Let's start with 50 Cent.
This dude is a genius...a master of his craft.
Take a look at this section I paraphrased from his book he wrote with Robert Greene
called "The 50th Law"...
In 2003, 50 Cent was now into Corporate America. After
seeing how business executives reacted to the change of
the music industry (ie. Internet), he knew that their inability
to adapt to change would ruin them.
He then began to pickup different ventures, making money
with Vitamin Water, General Motors and Pontiac, Books.
Soon, without knowing where it would lead, he put together
thisis50.com. A place where he showcased videos, songs,
projects, etc. It also became a place where fans could
interact, creating conversation between fans and access to
him as well.
Basically a Blog.
Kanye West did the same when he showcased his personal
interests, fashion, etc. on a blog. He also released new
music and videos to fans.
He literally tells you this in the song "Made In America" on the Watch The Throne album.
(((([Verse 1: Kanye West]
I told my mama I was on the come up
She said "you going to school I'll give you a summer"
Then she met NO ID and gave me his number
10 years later she driving a Hummer
n*** s hustle every day for a beat from Ye
What I do? Turn around, gave them beats to Jay
And I'm rapping on the beat they was supposed to buy
I guess I'm getting high off my own supply
Downtown mixing fabrics trying to find the magic
Started a little blog just to get some traffic
Old folks'll tell you not to play in traffic
A million hits and the web crashes – damn!
South Park had 'em all laughing
Now all my n*** s designing and we all swaggin'
Ignore the critics just to say we did it
This ain't no fashion show, motherf***er, we live it))))
So, if these two artist used blogs to grow their online
presence and businesses, would you take the advice they
are sending you in these messages???
Most artists don't know this but...
Blogs can actually be really simple to manage, in fact there are tons of
things you can do with your own blog.
Even convenient, imagine having a blog that allowed you to
create and update content online for your audience at anytime,
anywhere, within minutes...being able to do that and more
all from your smartphone?!
And even if you have NO experience with computers or blogging,
this is so simple and plain that a 12 year old kid can grow his online presence
with the use of a blog and the assistance of many experienced Bloggers and Team Members
at your disposal.

50 Cent and Kanye West are two artists who have used Blogs to help grow their online presence. In 50 Cent's book "The 50th Law", which he and Robert Greene collaborated on, 50 reveals this. Kanye West also mentions his use of a Blog in the song "Made In America" from the Watch The Throne Album, saying that he started a blog just to get some traffic.
If these two mega superstars can use Blogs to increase and expand their own online presence, gain more traffic to their brands, then the same is possible for any new up and coming artist today.
In the video below, I share with you information that many artist and People in General have no idea about Blogs today.
