Story behind the song
When Jason Flinter of the Song Diner [www.thesongdiner.co.uk] visited James for coffee, he asked James how he got on with his neighbours. The diplomatic response "they're privately-minded" struck a chord in Jason's mind. He didn't keep it private, however, and together they wrote this song. In the ensuing ping-pong of emailed musical ideas, a strange file-transfer glitch slowed an instrumental demo to half-speed. Struck by it's mellow mood, James decided to do another version of the song, intentionally at the slower speed. Here it is!
