Story behind the song

This song is about someone I met long ago, and I still believe it's quite an accurate description. I know now what happened later, but that's another story.

This version uses my original live recording with vocals and 12-stringed guitar, on which I've added drums and bass.

A very nice heartfelt song about someone you know.  Some people hide behind their smile because they do not want others to know how much they are hurting inside.  Great tune on the 12 string guitar and of course I love your voice. 
Enjoyed the ending with simple chords and just the right touch.. in slowing down... Shows variety.  You are very classey in much everything you produce! Awesome - GREAT JOB!
