he was born the same way as you and me..
but his goal in life was to break free..
with the tools he could succeed
broke out the womb and let him breathe
see, he had his reason to give..
he got the pop and he made it fizz..
chance to advance and live..
started out prophit for his bizz..
a skill set only he could tame...
he took his world and his made it sane..
he took a girl, and gave her a name..
happiness, and now he's all the same..
happiest when life is all a game..
life can be complex when it's plain..
A kid to his name, he'd proclaim..
his father, his daughter, life likes to change..
he sings to the world, so they hear..
blind to evil so he had no fear..
He said goodbye and he made it dear..
its not too hard when love is sincere..
A knock on the door, what for?
a suited man, ask to come in..
he's wondering... whats in store?
right then he was drafted into war..
he's gone..
And I don't know how
it starts but it goes
untill the end
and then the story grows cold
but I'll hear that whenI'm old
when I'm older
march n' step - solider, what's next?
How could you fight with something left?
How could you live with all regret..
How can you remember to forget?
And he continues to the front lines..
not knowing about his blunt mind
He commits only one small crime..
Breaks free of life, he breaks free of time..
Wars alive, and he hears gunshots..
to survive you only have to see one drop
In this life, we only have one stop
Towards the night, or the top
And sometimes we have to fall
don't you see? that's all life is to me
He tells himself, as if it helps
to breathe, as if to be..
then he falls
The sky never heard one thing
The world never heard one thing
The earth never heard him sing..
when it all falls down what could it mean?
To those who loved and lost
and loved, payed the cost of breathing
life is real and that's it's meaning..
and remember those you love
because we all leave..
And I don't know how
it starts but it goes
untill the end
and then the story grows cold
but I'll hear that when I'm old
When I'm older
When I'm older
when I'm gone
