THIS SONG WAS INSPIRED MAINLY BY MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTER "ANIVEA" DURING A TIME WHEN OUR FAMILY WAS TORN APART BY DIVORCE! ALL 3 OF THE CHILDREN WERE EFFECTED BY THE SUDDEN CHANGE, BUT IT TOTALLY CRUSHED AND DEVASTATED "ANIVEA" SHE WAS THE BABY, AND AT THE TENDER AGE OF 10 SHE COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY HER DADDY WAS LEAVING THE HOUSE FOR GOOD!! IT TURNED HER WHOLE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN AND INSIDE OUT! SHE CRIED UNCONTROLLABLY, CONSTANTLY CALLING MY NAME AS I WAS PACKING MY CLOTHES, UNTIL I WENT OF OUT THE DOOR. AND AS MUCH AS I TRIED TO HOLD BACK THE TEARS I WAS ALSO CRYING UNCONTROLLABLY... DURING THIS TIME MY KIDS WERE ALWAYS ON MY MIND. I COULD SEE THE EXTREME HURT, PAIN AND CONFUSION ON THEIR FACES EVERY TIME I SAW THEM, AND I KNOW THEY COULD SEE THE PAIN ON ME. I PAINED, BECAUSE THEY PAINED, BUT ANIVEA DIDN'T HANDLE IT AS WELL AS THE OTHERS, AND FROM THAT SEASON OF HURT, PAIN, DESPAIR, DEPRESSION, HOPELESSNESS, AND DISCOURAGEMENT THIS SONG WAS BIRTHED! ONLY GODS STRENGTH SUSTAINED US DURING THIS TIME. HE RE-ASSURED ME THAT I WAS NOT ALONE, NOR WERE MY CHILDREN... WE ALL LEARNED THAT THE PAIN THAT LIFE'S TRIALS BRING, WONT LAST FOREVER... YOU WILL GET PAST THE PAIN AND SUFFERING AS TIME GOES BY, AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TELL OTHERS THAT "YOU'RE NEVER ALONE, YOU'RE NOT ON YOUR OWN"
