Lyrics
All I can bring you are these broken faced statues Pictures of life that are drawn from my blood Frankenstein Masks carved with some play dough In the back allies where the female vampires shine gleamy toothed smiles at the young men and old men desires. (repeat at end) Oh all I can give you are half moons and pop songs Played from the steel chains a tied to my soul Old bones a rattling breaking the new ground where the seeds have been planted the seeds have been sowed For the old men , the young men who arel iving and dying too soon. Sun Moon Stars rain Little by little again and again Winter spring summer fall More by more and all by all (2x) Other chorus Lada di da O weigh oh Lada da di da O weigh oh La di da Yes all i can give you are these broken faced statues Of what I was am not going to be Carved with some play doung in a little red school house Where the windows are broken and the children run free Oh all i can give you are these broken faced statues In a young morning to your warm room Yes all i can bring you are these broken faced statues Where the young men the old men are living and dying too soon.

Another interesting lyrical composition here Rodger. Very good imagery. I thought this production was a bit bright and crispy "digital" sounding...at least on my system...the harp especially. All your songs have the "live at the stadium" sound which is your trademark sound and works well but i wondered if something was done differently on this one. The song itself was excellent.
Fab song Roger, good job my friend. Always love the harp as well. CHEERS GOOD BUDDY, AWESOME WEEKEND TO YA Claude and Noella

Hi Roger, That opening harmonica got my attention brought me to mind of Apple Scruffs (George Harrison). Excellent lyrics as usual. Might bring the vocal backing up in volume around 1:20. Broken Faced Statues great title. Nice work Roger and thanks for coming by.

Howdy Roger, Dude, I beg to differ....there is a story here, written very strongly in the lyrics and matched with a very strong melody!!! I would love to have heard the verse that you left only in print....but my favorite phrase "the old men, the young men are living and dying too soon"....priceless words!!!! Mighty fine harpin' with this melody and the guitar is dancin' the sound....extraordinary, I have a new favorite of your songs!!!!!!! Thanks for taking time to listen to my old tunes, dude and the kind words!!!!! My hat's off to ya RJ, Wade
