Story behind the song
The Lord always knows what's best in our lives, simply because we cannot see ahead, and He can.
There are many things we will endure, yet God keeps His word, His promises, and He is always on time when He moves in our lives.
I have always believed that; and though I don't always understand what the full story is, I just know to believe and trust..it is what I hold firmly onto. Yet, even I get frustrated sometimes, and while praying about a situation in my life, and that of some others, the words for this song came, and I cried, because while I know He hasn't ever left me, His love overflowed me with such gentleness and understanding, as He reminded me that His ways and thoughts are far above mine...and there are many things I will not ever understand..but He's got everything in hand, and takes care of me and everyone else every day without fail.
I thought I'd had an idea for a full production, but couldn't get it to come through, so I did an acoustic version. I seriously doubt a full production version will come about; yet this message is SO important to know and relate to. :)
It is all too easy to lose our faith when deep within our trials, but that's when our faith needs to be the strongest, trusting in the Lord to do what He said He would..and that's to be with us, and to be always there for us. :)
