Inspired by my favourite temple in Egypt, Djeser Djeseru. The Lady Pharaoh Hatshepsut ruled in the 18th Dynasty and left us this magnificent temple at Deir-el-Bahri. Much thanks to Moreno Caponi for the custom art done for this tune. Version 3.

Story behind the song
"Land of Egypt, Valley of the Nile. A balance of men and gods. Two lands, side by side...one for the living, and one for the dead, in a landscape filled with fragments of ancient lives." Spoken during the opening moments of the most excellent PBS documentary 'Ancient Lives' hosted by John Romer.
