As Sick As Us is a melodic death metal band like no other out of North Carolina creating new rhythms on the global progressive metal stage. Our songs have many styles flowing through them and we twist into our music, like a piece of stranded rope, unique melodies incorporating influences both old and new from different genres. The resulting hybrid sound gives you an eclectic mix that is a break from the pack. As Sick As Us was formed in 2008 by the brothers Zack and Zane Oskins. The group started like most bands do- young friends with a lot of energy, drums, guitars, amps and a garage. But what was unique about this particular set of friends was the individual talent each of them brought into the band. It was the 'perfect storm' that has now produced one of the hottest bands in the Southeast. Our songs all share a common denominator; They produce a visceral response in people who hear them.
