Story behind the song
The title kinda says it all!
Lyrics
She was born in a southern town, her old man was stationed there and they moved up north and they settled down, they raised her here On a corner house with a long front yard, pine tree's and lounge chairs swimming pool, Grandma, and Ceaser, her room in the basement stairs I knew her and she knew me and we grew with each others advice I loved her faithfully. I don't need to start over, I don't want to start over, I need nothing but One more night.....One more night. It was Friday evening somewhere in October, six years had passed us by And she left me half of this broken arrow, my will, I will survive This morning came with another song, as the evening decended to night and I sit outside, watch the children play, and think of her and ask myself why, oh why. I knew her and she knew me and we grew with each others advice I loved her faithfully. I don't need to start over, I don't want to start over, I need nothing but One more night....please....One more night.

Hi Kevin Steelye Dan, CSN&Y, some late Grateful Dead, but with guitar skills above what we´re used to from the above mentioned. Very good guitar work and backing here! Love everything with Rim shots on the snare :) The vocals are decent, the harmonies are O SO SWEET! The lyrics are, well a love song, right? I would recommend to turn up the lead vocals a notch. Other than that, a perfect laid back tune! Station add for sure! Cheers from Frankfurt

Beautiful song, very nice mix all the way around, beautiful guitar playing, and the style of your song and the vocals remind me a bit of Pure Praire League...guess that ages me, ha! But really you have beautiful harmonies like that 70's band did. Hope to hear more like this in the future....5 stars! ;) Also thanks for droppin by and checkin out my music, glad you enjoyed it! :) ~strummergurl~

Hi Kevin! I'm huge fan of acoustic and acoustic folk style music.......and a huge fan of this song!! It's beautiful! Smooth enough to drink it all in. Ashville is a beautiful town. And if I recall there is a really cool Abby there??? You made my day stopping by my page. If you get time you might want to listen to my brother here on Soundclick, he also does acoustic. Jamey Darnold. Great job on the music, Rosie Clare

Sweet tune. I love the acoustic guitar parts and the vocals are right on. I can definitely hear the James Taylor influence.
