Its been raining hard this week, so I was inspired to write a song about Noah and his ark...hope you enjoy, just me playing my keys and singing a song that pretty much wrote itself
One by one the people did come
To see the mystery they gazed upon
Timber and wood sand on the land
Building a boat he's a crazy man
The sun shone bright, blazing down
The people laughed to see such a clown
Building a boat in a sea of sand
They laughed so hard, at the crazy man
One by one the nails were driven
In a boat where soon they would be livin
They only water that hit the ground
Was the sweat from his brow as the sun beat down
The sun shone bright, blazing down
The people laughed to see such a clown
Building a boat in a sea of sand
They laughed so hard, at the crazy man
Then two by two, the animals came
Were they wild or were they tame
They walked in to the boat on the sand
He closed the door and the journey began
The rain came down , the rain came down
Thunder and em lightning was all around
The rain came down and the rain down
Very very frightening , flashes of lightning
Falling to the ground X2
For 40 days and 40 nights
Rain covered the land, covered the sand
A rainbow formed in the distant sky
And the boat hit ground that was finally dry
Faith is blind, it’s a desert of sea
Believe in truth it will set you free
Rainbows of light fall to the ground
To remember the way to promises bound
