Blues based rock with a touch of truth!
WELCOME EVERYBODY ! The Blues Byrds are the inevitable collaboration between one ocean and two humans. Michael Lyzenga and Andrea Cremona began recording long-distance in February of 2009 with their first song, Overseas. From West Virginia USA to Travo, Italy, many digits of code were passed back and forth through the ether-net until this song came about. Many more songs are in the works and will be added to our playlist very soon. We hope you enjoy the songs we've uploaded and stay in tune for more to come ! The Blues Byrds ITALY/USA

Lyrics
The Doctor Is In The House by Mike Lyzenga (2/4/09) I said the witch may be a doctor Or the doctor may be a witch No one really knows for sure When he’s got his mojo workin’ And the good folks are lurkin’ Hoping that he’s come up with a cure… yeah… He’s got a little shop down in New Orleans up an alley just off of Bourbon Street He’s always mixin’ up a mess ‘o blues With that funky Nawlins’ beat… yeah… The strangest sounds come tumblin’ out from mornin’ til late at night guitars are screechin’ the doctors always preachin’ he’ll make ya’ feel alright Yeah he can cure most anything That’s what the people say He’s got an antidote for the blues The reds and blacks and greys He’s worked his magic on presidents Kings and queens alike Just leave your money and your worries cause The doctor’s in the house tonight (show ‘em Doc!) I said the witch may be a doctor Or the doctor may be a witch No one really knows for sure When he’s got his mojo workin’ And the good folks are lurkin’ Hoping that he’s come up with a cure… yeah… Yeah he can cure most anything That’s what the people say He’s got an antidote for the blues The reds and blacks and greys He’s worked his magic on presidents Kings and queens alike Just leave your money and your worries cause The doctor’s in the house tonight ---------------------------------------------------- Magic Mike (Mike Lyzenga): acoustic & vocal The Mailman (Ray Hensley): organ D.D.
