A song for my son's wedding.
The Pugtones have been a live band in the past and are now an internet entity composed of Mark Cline and Warren Willingham along with some very talented guests. We both enjoy writing and playing and have become good friends along with producing some of the best music I've ever been involved in. Diverse would be the word!
Story behind the song
I wrote a song for my daughter's wedding 15 years ago. It was DAW and tape mix. I wanted to play it for my son's wedding. Both he and his fiance insisted they wanted their own. I laughed and said songs don't just pop out that way. Well, It did. I went home one day and wrote it in 45 minutes. I never finish most songs but had music and lyrics that quickly. They are a spiritual couple and so are we. We are provided with what we need. My sister came from Portland to sing it with me. At the wedding I played my 12 string and though this vocal is pitchy, the wedding duet came off without a hitch. We ARE provided with what we need. It's something the happy couple will never forget and neither will I.
