My baby Mama sang this wonderful rendition of this universal Christian song for children. The very lovely Jann Oldham has a fabulous voice and is well known in the Boulder, CO area.

Story behind the song
All of these songs have an element of the dance. This song reminded us of a mother up late at night slow dancing around the room with a sick baby. God loves us so much. Why not pray to love Him in return? If it sounds like the strings are just too much, if you're really hearing the voice, the strings will melt into it.
Lyrics
lyrics by Anna Bartlett Warner (1820-1915) music by William B. Bradbury (1816-1868) Jesus Loves Me Intro (Like the first and last lines of a verse) Verse 1 Jesus loves me, this I know For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; They are weak, but He is strong. Chorus Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me, For the Bible tells me so. Verse 2 Jesus loves me, He who died, Heavens gates to open wide. He will wash away my sin; Let His little child come in. Chorus Verse 3 Jesus loves me, loves me still, Tho’ I’m very weak and ill. From His shining throne on high, Comes to watch me where I lie. Chorus Verse 4 Jesus loves me; He will stay Close beside me all the way. If I love Him ‘til I die, He will take me home on high. Chorus (Turn-around twice) END (2nd verse from Internet lyrics) Jesus loves me loves me still, Tho’ I’m very weak and ill. That I might from sin be free, Bled and died upon the tree.
