Story behind the song
This songs was actually going to be an R&B song. It was written with DOLANN who is a great songwriter on that tip. I had to wrestle her for it but as you can see I won. She wrote it about not getting caught up in the feelings of loving someone so deeply, especially since you might not be sure about how they feel about you.
