The parable of the Waiting Father. (or more commonly known as The Prodigal Son)
I've always thought that the son received too much attention in this story, when the real drama was going on in the heart of the Father.
ThatÕs How I Knew You
How did you find me
I learned to fly before I crawled
You watched me fall
Into so many arms of love
I had forgotten where (remember)
I belong to you and IÕm so scared to run
Now that IÕve begun
To find my way back here
And thatÕs how I knew you
ThatÕs how I knew you would be
ThatÕs how I knew you would be here
Which road to follow
When it divides me then I will turn around
And walk familiar ground
Laying down this sorrow
ThatÕs how I knew you
ThatÕs how I knew you would be
ThatÕs how I knew you would be here
(Bridge)
So now, IÕm coming home
Living on my own (all I had is gone)
So far away from you
I Tore your heart in two
You still wait
Oh, no, no, donÕt go
