I always thought the name of this road was so cool and I just let my imagination go. It's in south Texas by the way.
CHARCO ROAD

He was a man whose life began
With a silver spoon stuck in his hand
Later on his plans would be on hold
Enter a girl to rock his world
She started hot she liked the burn
Then he learned they made a child down Charco Road
He would not leave his wife you see
This child was not his destiny
He wanted to be free so she was told
She said OK you’ll get your way
But bring me cash cause now you’ll pay
Then I’ll be on my way down Charco Road
When you belong to Charco Road
Never never ever get away from Charco Road
A Sunday fight no one in sight
Two shots rang out it split the night
Someone lost their life down Charco Road
People talk and they will walk
Up and down that road to gawk
But they will not be caught at night down Charco Road
When you belong to Charco Road
Never never ever get away from Charco Road
I was the one I had the gun
I could not stop what I’d begun
So three lives were done down Charco Road
If you go down this lonely road
You may hear a wail and moan
You are not alone down Charco Road
