In dark and ancient waters
She gathers fireflies
Paints poetry on a liquid sky
Dressed in indigo and blue
She wanders without care
Stardust catching in her midnight hair
Sleep arrives as night descends
Day fades into memory
River of life flow deep
Crazy River wild
Watch River dream away
Just like today
Waiting for the storm to come
Patiently with no fear
Distant thunder drawing near
She murmurs low in total bliss
All the world is washed clean
She sighs it’s just a lovely dream
Sleep recedes as day arises
Night fades into memory
River of life flow deep

In ancient waters
A life force breathes
