A tale of two lovers seperated by death
This was a bringing together of people who had the same goal...........producing a good song. Andrew reviewed the original Denis Couture's piano solo and added orchestration. Deborah sang the wondeful lyrics which Richard Roman had written and this is what materialised.

In a piano bar
We first met and stayed til almost two
While dancing in the candlelight
I stole a kiss from you
Romantic songs of love
We danced to all of them
Every night we couldn’t wait
Until we dance again
If only I could change
One second in that day you’d be on your way
Safely through the light
And make it home that night
Had I known that day would be
The last time I’d have the chance
I would have told you that I love you
And kissed you as we danced
It would help to know
The reason why the blink of some one’s eye
Or the single tick of a clock
Decides who lives or dies
Fate will never tell
Her purpose in our stars
And why some roads we travel down
Don’t go very far
I never said goodbye
Or held you before you walked out the door
How was I to know?
It was your time to go
Had I known that day would be
The last time I’d have the chance
I would have told you that I love you
And kissed you as we danced
