Arise O Joyous Night is a symphonic arrangement of a popular Slovenian Christmas Carol, "Zori Noè Vesela" by Slovenian teacher and organist Leopold Cvek (1814-1896). When it was first performed as an alternative to Holy Night when a guitarist couldn't come, it is said that all the congregation was weeping with the beauty of the song and lyrics.
